Nominations are being sought for Clitheroe’s annual Town Awards.

Run by Clitheroe Town Council, the awards recognise exceptional service and contributions to the life and environment of Clitheroe across a range of categories.

Individual awards are made for Building Enhancement, Environmental Services, Service to the Town, Service to Youth and Community and Arts/Culture, with nominations now being sought in each of these categories for the 2016 scheme.

Winners of the Town Awards will be determined by Clitheroe’s Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Leader of the Town Council following a meeting of its General Purposes Committee.

Nominations need to be sent to the Town Council by 1 pm on Monday April 4th.

They can be submitted by letter addressed to the Town Clerk at 9 Church Street, Clitheroe BB7 2DD, or by e-mail to: clitheroe@btconnect.com
