The video shows Footgolf at Towneley Hall in Burnley

Why: Footgolf is a relative new activity, which merges two popular sports together. It is fun and active. How it works: The game is played similarly to golf, but players use a soccer ball instead of a golf ball, and the ball is kicked rather than struck with a club, working toward a 21-inch “cup” in place of the usual golf hole. The player who finishes the course with the fewest shots wins. Footgolf is often played on golf courses, though it may also be played on specially built grass footgolf courses. Benefits: Footgolf is a fun group activity and is also an excellent form of exercise. Aerobic exercise is a great calorie burner, and so helps you to lose weight. It can also boost stamina, improving your endurance and reducing fatigue. The active exercise also increases your immune system and helps reduce the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
