Mrs Amanda Parker JP, High Sheriff of Lancashire, has officially opened a shelter on the village green at Dunsop Bridge.

The shelter, built by Frank Ireland & Co Ltd, of Waddington, is to provide a lasting reminder of HRH Queen Elizabeth II‘s Diamond Jubilee in the village, on land provided by the Duchy of Lancaster.

The shelter has been funded with money left over from local jubilee celebrations, help from the parish council and very kind donations from Ribble Valley Borough Council, LCC Parish

Champion and Green Partnership, Champion Bowland and Ribble Valley Homes.
