Cheers! A picturesque Ribble Valley pub has fought off fierce competition from pubs across the region to be crowned CAMRA’S best pub in Lancashire.

The Swan with Two Necks, in Pendleton, is owned by Steve and Christine Dilworth, who have been running the award-winning establishment for the past 29 years.

Their most momentous moment came when CAMRA crowned them National Champion Pub in 2013. They have been celebrating since after winning a number of regional and national awards and have just recently won CAMRA’s Lancashire Pub of the Year for 2016.

Speaking about their success, Steve said: “We are delighted. We have some absolutely wonderful real ale pubs and venues within Lancashire and are extremely pleased to win this award. The Swan with Two Necks is always up against the best pubs in the country and we have excellent staff working for us. We cannot thank our staff and our loyal customers enough for their continued support.”

The pub will now compete in the next round against the best pubs in Cumbria and the Isle of Man.
