Two people had to be freed from their car by firefighters after a tree fell on it during Storm Arwen last night.

Two fire engines from Padiham and Nelson were called to the scene of the accident in Barrowford Road, Higham just after 10-30pm.
The victims were treated at the scene by paramedics
