Towneley Hall dream wedding for brave Burnley couple

Mr Tom Cooper (24) and Miss Tammy Dale (23), of Greenbrook Road, will be joined by 100 guests for the ceremony on Wednesday.

Miss Dale will arrive at Towneley in a horse-drawn carriage and will be accompanied by six bridesmaids, including the couple’s daughters, Tienna (4) and 19-month-old Ziani.

They will hold their reception at the Oaks Hotel in Reedley.

The Express revealed how Tom was diagnosed with rare and incurable nasopharngeal carcinoma last October and doctors have told him they are unsure when his condition will deteriorate further.

Friends of the couple, who are struggling financially, launched an appeal on Facebook and since then they have been flooded with offers of help.

Tammy said there will be a “mad rush” over the next few days to make sure everything is ready for their big day and they are being helped by wedding co-ordinator Wesley Hall.

“I’m nervous and excited,” said Tammy.

“I haven’t really had much time to sit down and think about everything. People have really pulled together, we’ve had a lot of help and support and people are still offering us help.

“It’s been hard to choose which offers to take but we are grateful to everyone.”
