Students moved to help victims of domestic violence
Students in Burnley wanted to help when they heard about a charity that cares for victims of domestic abuse.
The pupils at Blessed Trinity RC College collected items, including food, toiletries, treats and little luxuries, to donate to Safenet after a representative spoke to them about the work it does.
Formerly the Wast Lancashire Women's Refuge Assocation, Safenet is now part of the Calico group.
RE curriculum leader Rachel Keighley said: "We want to thank all of the pupils who helped to support this worthwhile cause."
