A touring exhibition of sculpture, painting, text, sound, drawing and installation is coming to the Longitude Gallery, Clitheroe.
A preview night of The King of the Cats takes place on Friday 6-30 – 9-30pm and will will run until Sepetember 12th.
rLancashire Tales creatively explored by five Lancashire artists
Come and meet talking cats, boggarts, haunted hares and ghostly spectres, and immerse yourself in windswept moorland, snow-capped hills and icy becks as five Lancashire artists explore Lancashire tales.
Artists showing: Marjan Wouda – lively sculptures in atmospheric peep-box settings; Julie Miles – characterful imagings in clay; Patricia Ramsden – installation with a touch of the theatrical; Christopher Rainham – paintings, drawings and painted objects; Jacqueline Harris – contemporary recordings in collaboration with the people of Lancashire, with accompanying texts.
