'˜Save our buses' petition gathers 1,500 names
The 1,500-signature document will be submitted to Lancashire County Council, which is planning to cut bus services across the borough in a bid to save £65m. over the next two years.
Lib-Dem Coun. Tom Porter, who started the petition, said: “I have been listening to local residents and hearing their disappointment and anger over the proposed cancelling of the 65 bus service.

Hide Ad“Burnley has always had a good transport infrastructure, including disabled bus services and school services as well as ordinary services including the 65.
“People have organised their lives around these services cancelling these services will impact on everyone in our community in some way.”
