A Jack Russell from Sabden has won a space on a national dog panel to take part in the Butcher’s 10-Day Taste Challenge.

Five-year-old Jack is one of 100 dogs from across the UK to be selected for the exclusive food Taste Challenge hosted by Butcher’s Pet Care.

The 100 lucky participants will began the 10-Day Taste Challenge this Monday, October 6th, in which their owners are being provided with a 10-day supply of delicious meals from Butcher’s, made with real meat, no artificial flavourings and natural ingredients. They will then be asked to share online how their dog reacts to tasting the dinners.

Jack’s owner, Nicola Fishwick, commented: “When I saw this opportunity, I thought it would be great to register Jack and I’m delighted we have been chosen to take part in the 10-Day Taste Challenge.

“Like most dogs, mealtimes are one of the most anticipated parts of the day for Jack and it will be interesting to see how he reacts to the new meaty meals on offer.”

Clare Scallon, from Butcher’s Pet Care, explained: “We decided to launch a 10-Day Taste Challenge to encourage owners to swap their pet’s normal meals to see how happy it makes them.

“I’d like to congratulate Jack for winning one of the coveted places. We are looking forward to hearing all about the dogs’ experiences. We are encouraging dog owners to serve Butcher’s for 10-days – we guarantee an empty bowl and a wagging tail at the end of each meaty meal.”
