Police trace Lithuanian man in connection to Nelson rape
Officers, who launched the investigation on Sunday, September 17th, have released a statement confirming that they are attempting to locate Lithunanian Viktor Dadelo, who was living at Dalton Street at the time of the incident.
The victim of the offense, who is in her 30s, reported being sexually assaulted on Pendle Street, with Temp Detective Sgt Darren Irving, of East CID, explaining: “We want to trace Viktor Dadelo as part of our investigation into this rape and I would appeal for anyone who sees him or knows where he might be to get in touch.

Hide Ad“I would also appeal to Dadelo himself to come forward and speak to us if he sees this appeal,” he added.
Members of the public have been advised not to approach Dadelo if they see him, but instead to call the police, with aEuropean Arrest Warrant also issued for the Lithuanian for other alleged violent offences in his home country.
Dadelo has links to Greater Manchester, with police believing that he may have since travelled to the Rochdale area.
