Police investigate Burnley tip after man’s body discovered
POLICE are investigating a Burnley recycling centre after a body was found at an East Lancashire landfill site this morning.
The man’s body was discovered at Whinney Hill Road waste disposal site in Accrington by workers at 8-50 a.m.
Police were caused to the site and it has been shut down whilst officers examined the scene.
The new Widdow Hill Road recycling centre on the Heasandford Industrial Estate was also being examined by police.
