Police are appealing for information which will lead to the whereabouts of items stolen from a vehicle last night.

At around 10.30pm on Sunday, a White Ford Transit van, registration RIG 9679, was stolen from Lincoln Way in Clitheroe. This vehicle was subsequently recovered near Whalley, however, police say property that was inside is still outstanding.

A police spokesman said: "The outstanding property is drain cameras and bodies (Rover 225 Wincan), Crawler unit and box, Sea snake yellow and and push rod camera.

"If anyone has any information on this incident or the outstanding property, please contact 101 or independent charity Crimestoppers, 100% anonymously, on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference EG1806999."
