He had been at Royal Blackburn Hospital with a relative and was travelling home when Robert asked to get out of the car close to the Network 65 Business Park in Burnley.

He made off from the scene and has not been seen since.

Robert is described as white, of large build, with short, dark-brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and grey bottoms at the time of his disappearance.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

PC Cat Horner, of Lancashire Police, said: “We want to find Robert and are appealing to anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact us.

“Furthermore, if Robert sees this appeal, I would ask him to contact police to let us know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information about his whereabouts can contact police on 101 quoting log reference 1347 of March 28.
