Police are appealing for information after a large quantity of diesel was stolen overnight from Ribchester.
Between 5-30 pm yesterday (Thursday) and 7 am this morning (Friday) thieves broke into a secure compound in the Church Street area of Ribchester and forced the fuel caps open on a number of machines.
PC Tony Walsh said the thieves made off with a large quantity of diesel and that the police would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident.
Anyone who might have witnessed anything in the Church Street area around the time of the incident is asked to quote incident number EG1504811 and call Clitheroe Police by dialling 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
