Comics and cartoon characters was the theme for this year’s event with villagers displaying 71 creations in their gardens.
For the first time there was also a children’s fair on the village green.

Hide AdOrganisers said they were helped by good weather with Sunday proving the busiest day.
The proceeds, which have yet to be counted, will be split between the village hall and St John’s Church though fund-raisers hope to have matched last year’s total of £6,000.
To round off the celebrations a scarecrow ball will be held at the village hall this weekend.
Mr John Hammond said: “It’s amazing how the village comes together for this event. The scarecrows are all made by villagers. Each year in March or April they get the theme and then they use their own ideas. People really pull together.
