Two fire crews spent an hour and a half dealing with a garden shed fire in Ribchester.

Two fire engines from Longridge and Blackburn attended the fire on Manor Avenue at 3-27pm yesterday and, on arrival, discovered a fire involving a shed in a garden.

They used two breathing apparatus, one jet, a ceiling hook, one triple extension ladder, one hooligan tool and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Crews also had to remove part of the ceiling.
