Ribble Valley family's heartfelt plea to find beloved missing dog, Bobbi
A heartbroken family has issued a plea to find their beloved dog who's been missing for three weeks.
Since two-year-old cocker spaniel Bobbi went missing on January 16th, owner Joanne Bosonnet has been searching for her day and night, putting posters up in villages across the Ribble Valley in a desperate attempt to find her much-loved dog.
The family say they feel "completely torn apart" after her disappearance, and "want her back home, as the house is empty without her."
Bobbi had been on a walk local to her home in Bolton-By-Bowland. Nothing out of the ordinary, one minute she was with Joanne and then suddenly, she wasn't.
Bobbi's absence has upset the family, especially their 16-year-old son, Tom.
Joanne said: "This is Tom's dog and he loves her a lot. Bobbie went missing more than three weeks ago and we are having to wait anxiously for news about sightings. The house seems so empty and quiet without her. It's just awful. We have searched day and night and our friends, family and local residents have searched too.
"We wake up every morning with the hope of finding Bobbi, but at the end of a full day of searching, we are mentally and physically exhausted. Bobbi must be sad, frightened, lonely and desperate to come home to her family."
Joanne expressed her thanks to everyone who has shared her appeal on social media and for those who have helped in the search.
She said: "I have been overwhelmed by the support received from people. People I have never even met have been so kind. Incredibly kind . I am so grateful to everyone. Bobbi means the world to us and we want her back home with us. Please keep sharing the appeal and looking out for Bobbi."
Anyone who spots Bobbi is asked to call 07984214518.
Joanne added: "If you have seen Bobbi out there or have any information, however small, please do contact us. We are fully aware of what's happening on Facebook as someone is monitoring the appeal all the time, however, we are grateful for anyone who spots Bobbi while out and about."
