Clitheroe businessman's market offering at bargain prices for charity

Plates, glassware, trinkets, jewellery, china and other items will be offered at bargain prices this coming Saturday (December 12th) and the following Saturday (December 19th) from a stall near the Christmas tree staffed by Mr Pete Gainsley and some friends.
Mr Gainsley, who owns a number of businesses across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire, is a longstanding supporter of Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Hide AdMr Gainsley said: “The plan is just to see what we can make for Rosemere Cancer Foundation as all of the goods were given to me free-of- charge as a longstanding contact of the now closed wholesale business. I can guarantee some good bargains.”
Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre, Lancashire and SouthCumbria’s specialist regional cancer treatment and radiotherapy centre at the Royal Preston Hospital, and also at another eight local hospital cancer units across the two counties, including those at Burnley General Teaching and the Royal Blackburn Hospitals.
