Celebrate, be refreshed, start your Christmas preparations and support a charity all at the same event.

Clitheroe Parish Church will celebrate Education Sunday with a special service which will take place this Sunday at 9-30am.

The service includes music, drama and contributions from local schools and the U3A.

TOAST Young Peoples’ Group will help to build a prayer wall for schools using “bricks” on which everyone writes their hopes and dreams for the future of all who are learning.

Light refreshments will be served after the service and there will be a Fairtrade stall selling lots of goodies and Christmas cards too.

The service will be held in the upper hall at the St Mary’s Centre because the church is closed for major repairs.
