Our campaign for wheelchair users
I work for Vitalise, an amazing local charity that provides essential respite breaks for people with disabilities and their carers at our Sandpipers respite break centre in Southport.
Excursions are an important part of this experience and we regularly take guests on trips to tourist attractions across the country.

Hide AdWith so many challenges in the everyday lives of people with disabilities already, it is unjust that those with additional requirements should be restricted, or worse, excluded from enjoying our tourist attractions to the full.
We need to act now if we are to ensure meaningful and lasting change is created for accessibility and it is the responsibility of us all to shape the future of our society.
We have launched a new “Access Now” campaign to shine a spotlight on accessibility and we’re calling on people with disabilities from the region and across the UK to share their stories and experiences.
