New roundabout would save lives
I am writing with reference to the road junction at Spring Wood, Whalley.
Surely the simple solution to this problem junction would be to remove the traffic lights and replace them with a roundabout.
This would slow down the traffic and the lanes could be controlled by road arrowed markings ie, left, right or straight ahead. There is room to do this and it would allow traffic to flow more easily in a much safer way. It has got to be worth the cost if it saves one life.
