Green taxes mean ‘heat or eat’ for many
I fail to see how he can possibly seek to justify green taxes, currently accounting for 17% of the average household electricity bill and expected to rise to 33% or, to put it another way, from about £138 to £286.
There are a lot of families already fearing the winter and facing the choice of “heat or eat”. It is madness to pursue this EU-driven green policy which is harming not helping the people in this country - except those wealthy landowners receiving obscene subsidies for having wind farms on their land.
