Why so many millionaires are born under the star sign Gemini
Happy birthday to any of you who have a birthday this month.
If you are born between May 21 and June 20 then, like me, you are a Gemini. I’ve never believed in horoscopes but something interesting in the news caught my eye this week.
The article said a high proportion of millionaires are Geminis. As my birthday was the other week and I am, indeed, a true Gemini, I stopped to give it some thought.
Researchers recently investigated the star signs of the top 1,000 richest people in the country and while there was a fairly even spread over all the other 11 signs of the zodiac, it was found there was a higher concentration of Geminis.
Geminis represent 10 per cent of the group which includes such famous people as Donald Trump, Johnny Depp and Sir Paul McCartney.
The rich list from 2015 was headed by steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, also a Gemini, who is worth a ridiculous £12.7bn. Why should there be such a huge amount of millionaires with June birthdays?
No one really knows why, but a new study suggested people born under the sign of the twins have the best chance of becoming wealthy. To cement this fact, this is the third year in a row this has happened.
Maybe it is because we are supposed to have the personality traits which go hand in hand with making money.
Geminis are reportedly versatile, adaptable to change and energetic, all things you need to be if you’re running a business and want to be successful.
For me, being in the antiques trade, people could, perhaps, assume I didn’t do change well and had a tendency to live in the past. They couldn’t be more wrong.
I am constantly adapting the business to suit my visitors. The leisure park has seen many changes under my management over the past 30 years.
My wife, Gloria, loves reading the horoscopes, so she was excited to hear the good news about us Geminis. I am sure, in her head, she is already planning some exotic holidays and an array of new clothes, but I have always said, don’t believe everything you read in the papers!
