Specialist Anticoagulation Sister Kate Bulmer, based at Burnley General Hospital, has a starring role in the new NHS flu vaccination campaign appearing on TV, in print and online. Kate’s calm and reassuring manner in front of the camera was recognised after the 30-year-old nurse sent a home video to producers in London.

She said: “I wanted to do the ad because it features a nurse, doctor and pharmacist – NHS staff that people trust.”
