Man cut free by crews after car crash
A man has been taken to hospital after sustaining injuries in a road traffic accident in Nelson this morning (Sunday).
Firefighters from Nelson and Bacup used hydraulic equipment to rescue the man trapped in his car following the collision with another car on Manchester Road, just after 11am.
The injured man was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
