Major Simonstone road closed after accident
Motorists are facing heavy delays in Simonstone this morning following a collision involving a lorry and a car.
The A671 Whalley Road is currently closed both ways between Worthalls Road and Texaco .
The incident happened at around 7-30am.
A detour is in operation.
