Lost child reunited with her parents after appeal

A four-year-old girl who was found wandering along a Burnley street on her own this morning has been reunited with her parents.

Police launched an appeal after a four-year-old-girl was found in a Burnley street on her own this morning.

The little girl, called Teegan was found by police officers with her dog Blue in the Coal Clough Lane area.

She was taken to Burnley Police Station and her parents have since been traced and collected her.

Thanks to hundreds of people sharing the appeal on social media the child's parents were tracked down within half an hour.
