The firm will take its place on Sunday Times list of Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For, but bosses and staff must wait until February, when the awards are presented, to find out its actual position in the 100.
The Best Companies’ survey examines the ins-and-outs of company life and reveals how employees perceive their working environment.
Harrison Drury staff are encouraged to give their views and have them taken into account when business decisions are made, a number of employees have gone through leadership and mentoring courses, and the firm also contributes to a staff social scheme to encourage team building.
Harrison Drury is one of the region’s fastest-growing law firms and has gone from 23 staff in 2010 to 72 staff in 2015. Its specialisms include manufacturing and engineering; property and construction; leisure and tourism; transport and logistics, digital and creative; farming and rural business.
In addition to Clitheroe, it has ofices in Preston, Lancaster and Garstang.
Managing director John Chesworth said: “We’re always striving to make our working environment the best it can be.
