Talented Ribble Valley singer Hayley Eccles lost out on TV’s “The Voice” on Saturday night.

The 22-year-old, who lives in Old Langho, failed to get through to the next round of the ITV singing competition. Two other members of Will.I.am’s team, Jason and Michelle, were selected by the public vote as two of the three to progress to the next stage. The star then spent minutes making what he described “as the hardest decision” to take Tania through as his personal pick. Hayley belted out “Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum. Despite getting positive comments from the judges, it was not quite good enough for her to get through to the quarter finals.
