An Indie punk band is set to to get crowds rocking at a fundraiser in Whalley next week.
The Wrangling will play live at The Dog Inn, King Street, to raise money for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust in support of local 11-year-old girl Sophie Holgate, who suffers from the condition.
The event will be held on Friday, June 22nd from 8pm onwards.
One of the organisers said: "It's a free event, but bucket collections will be held on the night. Cystic Fibrosis is a chronic illness. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene and the average life expectancy is between 42 and 50. A sufferer can be taking as many as 50 tablets a day and endure several sessions of physiotherapy per day just to survive. June 22nd is National Wear Yellow for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day, if possible please wear something yellow."
