Coffee stop - The popular 3 in 1 coffee stop social event will next be held on Monday, February 21st, from 2 to 4-30 p.m. in St John’s Old School hall. Drop in to sample coffee and cakes, chat to friends and browse the stalls.
Pudding party - Now an annual event to brighten up February, this food festival is especially for those who enjoy a good pudding. This will be on Friday, February 25th, at 7-30 p.m. in Hurst Green Memorial Hall. After hot-pot, participants sample a variety of sweets. There are also games and entertainment. Flea market - The flea market will be held in Hurst Green Memorial Hall on Sunday, February 20th. This event raises funds for the bowling club.

Quiz night - A quiz night is being held in the Bayley Arms, Hurst Green, on Thursday, February 17th, to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Centre, entry is £2 per person, with hot supper and prizes. On March 3rd there will be a psychic night. There are a few spaces left. Tickets must be bought from the pub in advance.
