Hospital police shortlisted for top award

The scheme has been shortlisted for the Health Business Awards in the security category which recognises hospitals that have made significant steps towards a safer environment for patients and workers through the implementation of a security policy which incorporates the latest advancements in CCTV, access control and other monitoring technologies.

“Our security officers have been equipped with personal camera devices in a new initiative implemented earlier this year that helps to protect patients and staff from acts of aggression and we also have a close partnership with the Lancashire Constabulary.”
