The Rotary Club of Clitheroe has donated a bench to mark the opening of the new Clitheroe Community Hospital.

This is one of the Club’s Community Service initiatives, which also includes collecting for and delivery of the Town Mayor’s Christmas food parcels to those living alone and over 80 years of age living in the Borough of Clitheroe.

Rotarians hope that patients, relatives and staff will enjoy using the bench to get a little fresh air on warm sunny days. The bench, which has a brass plaque with the Rotary Club logo and “Donated by the Rotary Club of Clitheroe 2014”, will be located on the patio outside the Hospital’s Coffee Shop.
