An inquest has been opened into the Bonfire Night death of a 27-year-old man while he was visiting friends in Clitheroe.

Dominic Michael Sheeran, of Bullcop, Formby, Liverpool, had stayed at a friend’s house in Pendle Road, Clitheroe. He was discovered unresponsive and un-rousable the following morning and paramedics were called. He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
