Residents in the Ribble Valley are invited to have their say on proposed amendments to the borough’s housing and economic development plan.
The plan, or DPD, outlines land set aside for housing and economic development in the borough and will be used to determine planning applications until 2028. It was sent to the Planning Inspectorate for Public Examination last year and dates for the hearings have been set for November.
This consultation which began on July 27th, relates to amendments being proposed by the Council to the plan and not previous objections. The amendments relate to a number of additional housing sites proposed at Clitheroe, Langho and Simonstone. The amendments can be viewed at ribblevalley.gov.uk or the Ribble Valley Borough Council Offices in Church Walk, Clitheroe, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. They can also be viewed at Clitheroe, Longridge and Mellor Libraries, the Civic Hall and Station Buildings in Longridge during their normal opening times.
Comments should be e-mailed to email@example.com or posted to Pmods, Forward Planning Team, Ribble Valley Borough Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 2RA, by 5pm on September 7th.
