Calling all cyclists!

If you are thinking of riding your own bike into town to watch the Tour of Britain on Monday, September 7th a Clitheroe company has 100 free parking spaces up for grabs.

As roads may be clogged with motorists trying to get a birds eye view of top cyclists such as Sir Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish, the best way to get into town is on your bike. So Cycles Recycled came up with the catch free idea to offer the secure storage space for cyclists.

The spaces are being offered at the North Street premises of the organisation which is just a five minute walk from the start point of the race that will take in all the Ribble Valley villages and Pendle before ending in Colne. Tens of thousands of spectators are expected to make their way to the Ribble Valley for the major event.

Tickets for the bike spaces can be booked by visiting Cycles Recycled website or by contacting the company on 01200 439111.
