BBC Radio 2’s drivetime broadcaster Nigel Barden and hotelier Janet Simpson have cooked up an evening extravaganza of foodie fun to raise funds for flood-hit businesses and residents in Whalley and Billington.

To be held at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel, the event takes place on April 29 with proceeds going to the Whalley and District Lions Flood Appeal.

Tickets are £55 each or £500 for a table of 10 and the evening will include spectacular prizes and a superb three course dinner.

The Lions are giving grants of up to £500 which are being awarded to many people who have lost the essential items needed to live safely and comfortably.

To book for the event please telephone Gibbon Bridge on 01995 61456.
