Hay bales and tyres were rescued after a fire broke out a Rimington barn yesterday afternoon.
Two fire engines and crews from Clitheroe and a third engine and crew from Hyndburn rushed to the farm in Rimington Lane just before 2 pm
Crews used three main jets and a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, extracting unburnt bales from the barn with an excavator vehicle belonging to the farm, preventing the fire from spreading and escalating.
Firefighters remained there for a number of hours damping down. There were no casualties.
