Everything in Whalley will be rosy tomorrow in preparation for judges from the RHS Britain in Bloom competition.
Whalley is one of just six entrants selected to represent the United Kingdom in the small town category in the finals of the prestigious competition.
Volunteers are putting the finishing touches to key points of interest including the railway station, primary school and village centre.
Judges are also due to be taken on a tour of Whalley Abbey.
Chairman Michael Wedgeworth said: “Our volunteers have improved our public green spaces, supported our wildlife and protected our environment for the benefit of our community.”
The results will be announced in October.
