Engineering student meets Prime Minister David Cameron

A mechanical engineering student from Sabden taking part in the Year in Industry initiative met has met Prime Minister David Cameron.

Thomas Beetlestone (22), a former pupil of Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, is studying for a degree in mechanical engineering at Coventry University.

This year, Thomas is taking part in a Year in Industry and is completing a work placement at the Manufacturing Technology Centre Ltd, Ansty Business Park, Coventry.

And it was during this placement he was asked to meet and greet the Prime Minister.
