Ofsted rates Ribble Valley primary schools ‘good’

Two Ribble Valley primary schools have been given “good” ratingsby Ofsted.

Brennand’s Endowed at Slaidburn and St Mary’s RC, Chipping, were both inspected in January.

Teaching at Brennand’s Endowed is consistently good, there is high attendance and pupils’ behaviour is outstanding, says Ofsted.

The report on St Mary’s, said teaching was sometimes “outstanding”, the curriculum lively and well planned and the headteacher was said to lead the school well.
