Pendleton Village Duck Race and “Royal” Fete raised just under £2,000 on Saturday.
The event was well attended with visitors enjoying traditional stalls and ice cream on a sunny afternoon while cheering on their ducks.
The village hall was decorated with red, white and blue bunting and open for homemade cakes, tea and coffee.
The event provided an opportunity to view the recently improved facilities which were made possible with grant funding from The Lancashire Environmental Fund (LEF), The Forest of Bowland Sustainable Development Fund, The Harold and Alice Bridges Charity and the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund along with sustained village fund raising.
Jennifer Tidy from the LEF is pictured with “The Queen” after chatting to villagers about how the improvements have made a difference.
The money raised will go towards funding the village hall.
