Officers from the East targeted crime team were called to the Hebrew Road area yesterday to reports of drug dealing taking place in the area.

After a suspected drugs transaction was witnessed by officers, the teenager was arrested on suspicion of drugs supply offences.

Following his arrest, a large quantity of Class A drugs, cash and drugs packaging was recovered from a nearby address.

A spokesman for Burnley Police said they are doing everything in their power to tackle this type of crime and appealed for the public's help.
