Police issue warning to parents after criminal damage witnessed in Burnley town centre
The incident this evening was the third such this week where flower beds and fencing around St James Street and the Mall were damaged.
A police spokesman said: "This is something which will need to be fixed and isn't cheap to do so.

Hide Ad"A group of young children have been identified and will be dealt with by means of restorative justice.
"Along with a breach of Covid-19 regulations, fines can also be issued to the parents of offending children.
"Parents, do you know where your children are? Help us to help you, by monitoring your children's activities."
