Police appeal after man (36) goes missing

POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man who has gone missing from home in Rossendale.

Lee James Peel (36), of Bury Road, Haslingden, was last seen at an address in Fern Terrace about 11-30am on Thursday.

He is described as white, 6ft. tall, of medium build, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with turquoise banding and lots of zips, light grey tracksuit bottoms, a dark grey sweatshirt and black and white trainers.

Insp. Martin Storey said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Lee as he has not been seen for more than 24 hours.

“I would appeal for anyone who sees him or who has any knowledge of his whereabouts to get in touch with us. I would also appeal to Lee himself to contact us if he sees this appeal to let us know he is safe.”
