Police appeal after brawl outside pub

Police are seeking further witnesses to a fight outside a Whalley pub over the weekend.

Three men have been arrested and released on police bail following the brawl outside The Dog Inn, Whalley, which left a man with minor bruising. The fight happened at 8-30 pm on Saturday in King Street.

Insp. Hassan Khan, of Clitheroe Police, said: “Officers attended after reports of a brawl. We were informed that a table was thrown and a bottle smashed. Three men from the Accrington area aged 43, 44 and 49 were arrested and have since been released on police bail. The victim, who lives in the Ribble Valley, suffered minor bruising and did not require any hospital treatment.”

Witnesses are urged to call police on 101.
