There was high drama in Clitheroe in April 2009 when the market town was at the centre of a terrorism alert.
Up to 100 police officers swooped on the Homebase store and arrested two Asian security guards as part of a major terror operation launched in the North West.
Officers moved on the store about 5-30pm to arrest the men as stunned work colleagues looked on.
Officers simultaneously raided the Brooklyn Guest House in Pimlico Road where the men were staying.
It is understood police were at the store for about 40 minutes as surrounding roads were closed off and a helicopter combed the area.
An eyewitness said: “About 50 vehicles filled the car park and the police stormed in and quickly brought the two men out.
