A LANGHO man has made a second appearance before Blackburn magistrates charged with a £62,000 fraud on his Clitheroe-based employer.

Glen Harkness (30), of Whalley Road, Langho, is alleged to have obtained the money over a two-year period while working for Greenacre Honda, in Clitheroe, as an assistant accountant. He is alleged to have held money back from the bank and altered invoices.

Harkness, who faces nine charges of fraud by abuse of position, was committed on bail to Preston Crown Court.
