Crack cocaine and heroin discovered after Pendle drugs bust - one man charged

Police found a "substantial amount" of crack cocaine and heroin at over £2,000 street value after a drugs raid at an address in Canal Mews, Nelson.

Officers from the Pendle Taskforce, neighbourhood police team and with support from the dog unit executed the warrant yesterday (Thursday) and two men were arrested.

A spokesman for Nelson, Brierfield and Barrowford Police said: "Officers have worked tirelessly throughout the day and evening conducting enquiries and interviewing.

"The crown prosecution have since been consulted and James Norwood age 51 has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and will be remanded in custody.
